Happy New Year

Yesterday I went over to Marybeth(aka Saltandchocolate ) and Faith's house to enjoy the incoming new year . We made a new year's list and enjoyed each others company . Dieter , one of Faith's younger brothers , had recently received a finger puppet booklet . Dieter was kind enough to make me a finger puppet butterfly .

After Faiths house , I went home to celebrate with my mother by making banana and nutella crepes , They were superb and a great way to start the New Year . I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's eve .

Enjoy the simple pleasures

Banana and Nutella Crepes

Ingredients :

1 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

1 tablespoon oil

1 cup flour

2 bananas ( depending on how much one likes banana )

Nutella

a pinch of love

Tools:

whisk

medium size bowl

ladle or large spoon

a skillet with a small lip

Spatula

Take the milk, eggs , and oil and put them in a small bowl . Beat them together until they look frothy . Then add your flour one tablespoon at a time . This way your crepes aren't lumpy . Beat the ingedients until they are thin and soup like .

Once you have your ingredints ready cut up the bananas into thin slices. Don't put them into the crepe mix though. Just keep them on the side.

Take your large spoon and pour the crepe mix onto the skillet .Immediately start to swirl around the crepe mix , so that your crepes aren't too thick . Let them cook until they are a golden brown around the edges and have formed small bubbles on the top. Take your spatula and gently go around the edges , picking them up ever so slightly. Then loosen more . Once the crepe has been loosened , Flip it over( this may require one to use their fingers as a guide).

Once crepes have been cooked , spread a little Nutella on and line up banana slices in the middle .
Roll up like a burrito .
enjoy !
